A former student at IITC, the Institute of Fashion Design in India, Mrs Soniyah Sidhu pursued a path of creating fusion wear by mixing traditional Indian styles with more contemporary ones to create modern and exotic clothing with Jinder’s in 1999.
She has been the driving force behind retail merchandising and marketing strategies, ensuring the store is current and up-to-date. During the pandemic, she also helped Jinder’s gain an online presence and expanded their business even further.
From attracting the high-end market with designer wear and launching several lines at Jinder’s, she was instrumental in its evolution from being a women’s wear store to a one-stop-shop for all in these last 25 years.
